I know, I know, I have said before that I would “Cool it” on jackets for a while, but for some reason they just seem to keep ending up in my basket when I leave the thrifty store. Here is my latest save. Something like this is fairly easy to do as long as you have some embroidery skills.

What do you think? I am open for review and questions as always. I have missed doing “My thing,” so much. My day job as a teacher has been kicking my behind. The “Last 2 years” have been crazy, but I still have hope that “My last 2 years” before I retire might resemble some kind of normalcy. That way I can create anytime I please!!!!
Talk to me!

I love seeing what you do with thrift finds, Mary. You are so talented! Iโve missed your projects, too.
Allison,
Thank you. Being creative is a big part of my life. These last few years have really taken it out of me. I am determined to get it back!
So clever Mary, and you did your usual beautiful job of upcycling. I’m always impressed by your work ๐
Mother Deer,
Thank you as always for your comments and loyal following! Hope you are doing well!
You always come up with innovative ways to enhance and create your refashioned clothing!
Than you Steve!
Love the gray denim jacket.
Love to see the transformation.
Ursula! Thank you so much!
Love what you have done to the jacket ๐. I will have to have a go too !
Claire,
You will have to send me a picture when you “Have a go!!” I had fun with this one1
Usually I lurk but feel compelled to comment as I’ve admired your creative refashions for a long time. I LOVE your clever and beautiful embellishments on this jacket. Gorgeous! Hope you have a chance to wear it often.
Lynne,
You are welcomed to “Lurk” anytime you like, but I love it that you have commented. Thank you so much!
Love the look on you! Don’t stop showing us jackets! They are so cool! ๐
RW!!
So nice to hear from you! Duly noted. I have more jackets in my stash! Not to worry.
Mary
Thank you Mary. You just can not have too many jackets. Nice makeover! Oh and I like your hair this longer length. Nice to hear from you again.
Betty,
Thank you! I am starting to find that out. I think that is why jackets still keep finding their way to me. Don’t worry, more to come!
Mary
Love the refashion, and also this hairstyle is very becoming on you!
Thank you Maria, It was fun to practice my hand embroidery skills. I like my long hair but am still working on how to live with it. hahaha the pixie that I had for so many years was soooo much easier!
